From 01/01/2020 to 30/6/2020, the whole country recorded 9,918 cases of common reactions and 21 cases of serious complications after vaccination.
About common post-vaccination response: local reactions (swelling, heat, red pain at the injection site), fever <39 ° C and other symptoms.

From 01/01/2020 to 30/6/2020, the whole country recorded 9,918 cases of common reactions and 21 cases of serious complications after vaccination.

On post-vaccination serious complications: 20 cases were recorded in the expanded immunization program and 01 case in service vaccination.

Severe complications after vaccination in IDU were recorded in 09 provinces and cities, including: Hanoi (05), Son La (08), Thai Nguyen (01), Lang Son (01), Nam Dinh (01), Da Nang (01), Dak Lak (01), Soc Trang (01), Tra Vinh (01).

In 20 cases of severe post-vaccination event in the expanded vaccination, record:
14 cases of serious complications after 5-in-1 vaccination (01 case after ComBE Five vaccination and 13 cases after vaccination produced by SII) out of a total of 1,379,944 doses of 5-in-1 vaccine. .
04 cases of serious complications after BCG vaccination out of a total of 946,055 doses of BCG vaccine used.
01 case of serious accident after DPT vaccination out of a total of 850,014 doses of DPT vaccine used.
01 case of serious complications after the neonatal Hepatitis B vaccination out of a total of 511,422 doses of newborn Hepatitis B vaccine used.

Serious complications after vaccination have been assessed and concluded by the Professional Advisory Council for the cause of serious complications in the course of using vaccines at the provincial level to evaluate and conclude the cause, including recording:
09 cases due to inherent characteristics of the vaccine (45%);
06 cases due to coincidence (30%);
05 cases of unknown cause (25%)
None of the cases fell into one of three groups of causes: the quality of the vaccines, the vaccination practice, the fear.
All severe complications are vaccinated according to the correct procedures.
Regarding the situation of serious events in vaccination services, as of June 30, 2020, one case of recovery after vaccination against Infanrix Hexa was recorded in the city. Ho Chi Minh City, Conclusion of Provincial Council: Grade III Anaphylaxis after Infanrix Hexa vaccination.
