From 1/1/2020 to 30/9/2020, the whole country recorded 16,307 normal reactions and 25 serious complications after vaccination.
On the common post-vaccination response: record local reactions (swelling, heat, red pain at the injection site), fever <39 ° C and other symptoms.
Regarding serious complications after vaccination: 24 cases were recorded in the expanded vaccination program and 01 case in service vaccination.

Severe complications after vaccination in IDU were recorded in 12 provinces and cities, including: Hanoi (06), Son La (08), Thai Nguyen (01), Lang Son (01), Nam Dinh (01), Phu Tho (01), Da Nang (01), Dak Lak (01), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (01), Soc Trang (01), Tra Vinh (01), Dong Nai (01) .

In 24 cases of severe post-vaccination event in EPI recorded:
- 17 cases of serious complications after 5-in-1 vaccination (02 cases after getting ComBE Five and 15 cases after vaccination produced by SII) out of a total of 3,112,736 doses of 5-in-1 vaccine use.
- 04 cases of serious complications after BCG vaccination out of a total of 1,089,220 doses of BCG vaccine used.
- 01 case of serious accident after DPT vaccination out of a total of 1,038,456 doses of DPT vaccine used.
- 01 case of severe accident after the neonatal Hepatitis B vaccination out of a total of 983,944 doses of newborn Hepatitis B vaccine used.
- 01 case of serious accident after Japanese encephalitis (Jevax) vaccination out of a total of 2,130,800 doses of Jevax vaccine used.

24/24 cases of severe events in drug abuse have been assessed by the Provincial Professional Advisory Council for the cause of serious complications during the use of vaccines, of which 21/24 cases have been evaluated by the Professional Advisory Council. Ministry level evaluates and concludes the cause and records:
- 13 cases of reaction due to inherent properties of the vaccine (54.2%);
- 06 cases due to coincidence (25.0%);
- 05 cases of unknown cause (20.8%);
- There is no case in one of the three cause groups: due to the quality of the vaccine, the practice of vaccination, the fear.
All severe complications are vaccinated according to the correct procedures.
Regarding the situation of serious events in vaccination services, as of September 30, 2020, 01 case of recovery from Infanrix Hexa vaccination was recorded in the city. Ho Chi Minh City, concluding the Council of Ministries: Level III anaphylaxis.

Lao Cai received "Certificate of National Standard Recognition for Preventive Medicine Center"
