Over the past few days, the central regions have had continuous heavy rains, especially in areas such as Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh…; In many areas, deep floods occurred, flash floods, landslides. According to forecasts, this area will continue to have heavy rain in the coming days, the risk of landslides, flash floods, deep flooding and unsafe small dams, critical areas.
In order to proactively respond and reduce damage to complicated developments of rain, flood and flood, the Ministry of Health (the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue) sent the telegram No. 1647 / CD-BYT to request Directors of provincial / municipal Health Services from Nghe An to Quang Nam; units directly under the Ministry of Health of the Central region on the implementation of medical work to respond to rain and floods, specifically:

2. To maintain professional duty, first-aid duty, mobile teams, ready to use them to rescue victims caused by rain or floods; check reserves of drugs, chemicals and medical supplies for timely replenishment.
3. The Provincial Military and Military Medicine Committee shall urgently work out a plan to mobilize mobile teams to organize first aid at isolated medical establishments, minimizing the referral of patients to flood areas.
4. Review health facilities at risk of unsafety and plan to move medical facilities out of areas prone to landslides; urgently overcome flooded medical establishments (electricity, clean water ...) so as to soon put them into medical examination and treatment.
5. Maintain and strictly implement Decision No. 3088 / QD-BYT dated 16/7/2020 promulgating "Criteria for Hospitals for safety against Covid-19 epidemics and respiratory inflammatory diseases" to ensure protection. clean water, clean water and waste treatment at health facilities under the guidance of the Department of Health Environment Management.
6. To thoroughly grasp and propagate to mass organizations of health workers and people to prevent drowning accidents; not subjective when passing flooded areas, need to bring life jackets, buoys and other items to prevent drowning.
